VÄÄGVERE KÜLAKAPELL
Väägvere külakapell on 2005.aastal loodud Tartu valla rahvamuusika kollektiiv.
Nimi saadi küla järgi, kus käiakse proove tegemas ja elab kapelli tuumik.
Kapelli omapäraks on koos musitseerivad erinevas eas inimesed. Ühesesinemisi on
tehtud laulukooride ja tantsurühmadega. Esinetud on paljudes Eestimaa paikades:
pillipeol, külapäevadel jne. ning ka välismaal
(Ungari ja Itaalia). Väägvere külakapelli eesmärgiks on panna inimesi
rahvamuusikat armastama ja edasi arendama ning noori rahvapille mängima .

Village Folk Music Group
Väägvere külakapell , founded in 2005, is an actively performing folk music
group from Tartu county, Estonia. It was named after the village where the group
members come together to rehearse and where the core of the folk music
collective lives.
One of the peculiarities of Väägvere külakapell is that it consists of people
form all different ages.
Väägvere Village Music Group has performed together with choirs and dance
troupes. Performances have taken place in Estonia (Music Instrument Parties,
village festivals etc) and also abroad (for example music festivals in Hungary
and in Italy).
Väägvere külakapell is a group dedicated to preserving Estonian folk music. The
aim of the Väägvere külakapell is to connect people thorough ethnic music and
bring people closer to Estonian folk music. One of the collective's primary
missions is to bring young musicians to folk music and encourage tem to play
more folk music instruments.
